Power Generation Carbon Brushes
Engineering Carbon Products (ECP) can now supply premium grade turbo alternator carbon brushes for use in a wide range of power generation applications. Specially developed and proven to be both reliable and at least equal in performance to the most common grade ‘634’.
At ECP, we are confident that we can offer quality products which perform in a consistent manor in key areas such as current distribution, wear rates, coefficient of friction, temperature, and volt drop.
Tests have shown better and more consistent rates of wear than certain other grades currently available on the market.
Power stations currently supplied span as far as South Africa, Nigeria, the Philippines to Finland, Sweden, Germany, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Austria.
Types of alternators at these locations include; Alstom Power/ABB, Siemens/AEG, Skoda, Elin, ASEA, Russia, Westinghouse, Mayer and English Electric in the range of 28MVA to 550MVA.
